Her eyes had to be deceiving her. It couldn’t be real. Had Glory taken Dawn? Right from under their noses. They’d been distracted; she’d been distracted. Nothing made sense. Knights wanting to kill her sister, Gods wanting to kill her sister. It wasn’t right. Dawn was just a child. Buffy was the one they all wanted dead. She was the one with the destiny.
Voices called to her but she couldn’t hear them. They were too far away. Everything was too painful. She’d lost everything. There was no reason to keep fighting. She would give up, give in.
