The fryer sizzled in front of her as she waited for the button to beep. She was so tired of the grease smell and the blinding orange uniforms. In fact, she was tired of food in general. But she had no choice but to work here. She needed to bring in a paycheck to support Dawn.
She couldn’t lose her sister now, not after all they’d been through. So she would put up with the smells and the stains and the uniforms. If she could handle fighting off some of the world’s ugliest undead, she could handle fast food.
